About the Grant
The Elizabeth Grone Study Tour Grant, funded by Miss Grone's estate, helps students in need of financial assistance cover travel costs for study tours. In addition to partial support, one full scholarship is awarded per trip. These tours aim to immerse students in a target-language country, providing first hand language experiences in everyday situations. The program fosters language development, cultural understanding, and personal growth while enhancing students' social and group interaction skills.
Application Open: April 1, 2026 - June 1, 2026
Recipients Notified: Rolling basis
Award Amount: Partial or full cost of a language immersion trip, dependent on Foundation funding and applications.
*A committee reviews the student applications and makes recommendations for grants on the basis of financial need and essay answers.
