"Never give up!" This is what Kayla exudes every day. She works in our student support center about five hours a day with students who are working hard to improve their behaviors. She truly positions students as capable and supports their growth in all areas including social, emotional and academics. . Kayla embraces challenging problems and collaborates to find solutions. This is where she is truly inspiring because when others may want to give up because a child is having a tough time expressing overwhelming emotions in a productive manner, Kayla says, "What if we try this..." Kayla is respected by parents, staff and students because she is genuine and real. Her drive and desire to serve are inspiring to all!
