Lana Bolles

Randolph Elementary School
Instructional Coach
Nominated By: Principal Monica Jochum

Lana Bolles does it all! I don't know what I would do without her. There are so many things she does that are part of her job descriptions, but so many more things she does because it's what's best for children. Lana's job title is instructional coach. With that role, she works with new teachers helping to mentor them on a daily basis and has scheduled monthly meetings with them. She is also a great support to veteran teachers in the building as well.
She is also a huge asset to all staff as she helps plan and deliver professional development at staff meetings. Lana is also our testing coordinator. As that part of her job, she attends district meetings, communicates with staff, schedules assessments, communicates with administration, parents and teachers. Our lunchroom is able to function because Mrs.Bolles is in there everyday for 2 hours. Lana also serves as our MTSS-B coach. You might think that would be enough, but Lana doesn't think so. She also teaches our EDAS morning group. She is our coordinator for our homework club that meets 3 days after school. Lana also teaches summer school for us. I'm not sure what I would do without Lana's leadership and willingness to do whatever students need to be successful.
