Ms. Patera comes everyday ready to start a new day. She welcomes her students and the entire building with a contagious smile and warm greeting. She is always there to help support all of her students, and come up with ideas to help them be successful whether she is coming up with these ideas with them or with other adults. When there are days that are more difficult, Ms. Patera is ready to problem solve, adjust, and modify to help students succeed. Ms. Patera has great ideas when we are in staff meetings on ways we can help support other students in the building and ways we can all come together to help them better achieve. She's willing to help teach in other classrooms when teachers are gone, she's wanting to build those relationships with other students. She has such a calming personality and gentle touch that makes students and staff gravitate towards her. Abbey has shown great inspiration this year! Abbey's dedication to her students' success is evident in every way.
