“Master Teacher!” – flexible, positive, professional, organized, kid centered, TEAM oriented!

These are the words I use when describing Shawn Podraza, a wonderful person, and someone who we’re lucky to have teaching for us at Holmes Elementary School.

Shawn has the highest of expectations for her students. Academically, they achieve! Behaviorally, they work hard, are engaged and know what expectations are.

Shawn has been able to work with some of the most difficult students and parents alike, and has done so very well!

I appreciate Ms. Podraza’s positive demeanor and creativity as she is one who can be counted on to bring others up when the stress of the world can get them down!

Shawn is ready and willing to jump in and do what needs to be done for the good of the TEAM, and the school, and will often offer to do so without being asked.

Teachers like Ms. Podraza are uncommon. Teaching during a pandemic is difficult work, yet Shawn has done so masterfully! She is supportive of her teammates, her students and the school. Ms. Podraza is one of the best teachers I’ve had the pleasure to work with and I count my lucky stars that she works at Holmes!

How Can You Access and Correct Your Information? You may request access to all your personally identifiable information that we collect online and maintain in our database by emailing us using the contact form provided to you within the site structure of our website.
