April goes above and beyond in her communication with teachers and parents. Even when she has to be gone she lets everyone know, so that all of Pyrtle can have the best care in her absence. She is also so WILLING to be a team member with students who might need extra health support. I know this puts more on her plate, but again she is willing to help wherever she is needed. Things can also get stressful or busy in the health office and April handles this with patience and grace. She really listens to teachers' recommendations when a teacher says a student isn't acting themselves and communicates this with families. Finally, she is kind and approachable to not only students but staff and parents as well. We so appreciate April's teaming at Pyrtle!
