Meghan Schmidt is a 2nd grade teacher at Eastridge Elementary. Meghan has made her mark in a variety of places at Eastridge. She is our Social Studies and Wellness Liaison.
Her work in Social Studies includes writting curriculum and leading district professional learning and has lead our Student Vote event.
Meghan promotes healthy choices for our students and families through her work as our Wellness Liaison. She developed a Family Wellness Scavenger Hunt and now orginizes the annual event. Her work with our PTO has made our Color Run one of the most attended and successful events.
Meghan helps build leadership skills within our 4th and 5th grade students during their work on Student Vote and the Student Wellness Committee. She urges them to showcase their talents as leaders in our building. She helps them find their niche as student leaders and works with them so they can see their potential. Meghan is creative and you can tell she enjoys leading students in different roles.
Meghan works hard to make Eastridge a great place and everything she does leaves a positive impact on the building. This is why Meghan Schmidt is Eastridge’s Inspire winner.
